Bees, Badgers, Birds and Insecticides

There has been much debate amongst the public over a possible badger cull in parts of England as a means of controlling TB in cattle.  Yet there is no public debate over the much larger issue of the widespread use by farmers of modern insecticides (known as neonicotinoids), which are suspected of causing widespread damage to the environment and to bees.  This article examines the reasons behind the silence.
